ABOUT OUR CAUSE
We Support All Women, Everywhere.
Population Services International (PSI) makes it easier for women in the developing world to lead healthier lives and plan for the families they desire.
214 million women in developing nations do not have access to the contraception they need. Without the power to plan how many children to have, and when to have them, women across the world struggle to feed their families, drop out of school, and face a more significant risk of complications during pregnancy.
93 cents out of every dollar PSI spends goes directly to program expenses. EXSENS donates a percentage of profits to PSI annually.
For almost 50 years, PSI has been on location across the world, focused on modern family planning and contraception, but also HIV, malaria, clean water, sanitation and hygiene. Since its founding in 1970, PSI has worked with and for the people they serve, building sustainable solutions for some of the world's most serious health issues.
In the past 25 years, PSI has saved the lives of 17,300 mothers, prevented 6.42 million unintended pregnancies, prevented 240,100 new HIV infections, and curtailed 95,800 deaths due to malaria, diarrhea and pneumonia.
Over the next 50 years, PSI plans to reimagine healthcare to bring the world closer than ever to universal health coverage, developing and implementing innovative solutions that meet the real, everyday needs of people in the developing world.
